Cassi had such a great time at the Elite soccer camp our club offered this week
that she made the two coaches a cake.
I thought she was a little funny for doing so but I told her it was likely the first time
they'd received a thank you-cake for their services!  :)
It was a hit!

It goes without saying that on the longest day of the year we'd be at the soccer fields. Unfortunately, this weird fog rolled in and I could barely tell there was a game going on.
After the game, the sun came out again. :)

Had to spend 2 days in Anchorage while Cassi Attended a cheer camp.

It was a beautiful 2 days and I was rather bummed we were stuck there in the land of concrete. 

Cali and I decided to make the best of it and sunbathed on the hood of the truck.

Several weeks ago I spotted this Eagle's nest on the way back from Homer.

Today on our return home from another trip down that way,  we stopped to have another look and there were babies!
