I scored a home run on Busch Gardens annual passes for my brother and his family!!

 It was a great weekend.
We always have a ton of fun on our annual first camping trip of the season.

Cori and Alli put up the tent and decided to sleep there for the first night
of our annual Memorial Day camping trip.

Grandpa decided he'd better check in on them just in case.

Cori will be eligible to apply for her learner's permit in September.

She has been very anxious for me to start teaching her a few things.

I won't let her drive on any main roads but I have been letting her drive down our road 

and around the block to practice stopping and using her signals.

I didn't realize when I left, that I'd dressed like a damn Christmas ornament.

I read recently that from now until July 23rd, sunsets will happen after 11:00pm. 

I was on my way to pick Cori up from the movie

that was due to be over at 11:30. It was a beautiful night!

Every year, on the last day of school,
all of our teachers have a big send-off for the students. 

This year they did this big jump-thing with bubbles and everything. 

Cassi is in the front with her friends; it's her last year in elementary school.

Cassi came up with the great idea of making smoothie baskets for an end of the year teacher gift!

They turned out so cute! The girls organized the baskets themselves. Cali was especially proud!

I made this plant from cuttings of one on my porch. I am giving it to a friend a work that does not have a green thumb. I think it will survive since it's in the Cactus family. The pot I used is one that belonged to my Mother.

and I am sure there are at least half that many in Cassi's closet as well.

It's a habit I really dislike- I think I'm gonna have to get meaner about it!

Cali really needed me to hang out with her outside for a little while, so I did.

And as my reward, she made me some awesome bark brownies, pine-cone treats, some mud meat, and some grass spinach. I even got some refreshing pond water to drink! YUM!
