The cheer team got the all clear to wear red, pink,
or any Valentine's wear for practice rather than 

the mandatory practice gear. Cassi took this seriously. She made it in an hour between all the other things she had going on today! She loves making shirts for team events, whether it be tie dying, painting, adding nicknames, she always has a plan. For today, she cut out an old shirt, and used puff paint to put a heart on it, with RCC in it. The back says River City Seniors. Paired with the crazy heart socks she received for Valentine's Day and her awesome cheer bow, one of the many in her collection, she was rocking the love for practice. That's my girl!

Cali visited 2 different cheer friends in the hospital in as many days.

I am hoping we stay healthy, it's been a rough winter for illness 'round these parts. 

Isn't she such a sweet friend to go visit?

I am hopeful I am teaching her good things with moments like this.

The city of Kenai received a $200,000.00 grant towards a new turf field at Kenai High School.

The mayor called me (because I am the president of the soccer club) and asked if 

I could round up some kids to a press conference/ photo op. 

Well yes mam, yes I can do that!  :)

Annie and I took a ride down to the beach early this morning. 

This has been a long winter and I am looking forward to some time on the beach.

Summer can't come soon enough.

They won two matches, 25-10, 25-9.

I have high hopes for KMS volleyball again this year!

I hate having to leave one of my kids behind when I have to leave town.

I am fortunate to have good friends who she can stay with but it still makes me nervous.

Before leaving today, I stopped the high school to take her a drink and a few snacks

 to get her through the night, if she gets the munchies! :)
