It was a fairly relaxed birthday but my friends and family came together for a walk on the beach and a bonfire;  that of course made it one of the best!

After a few minutes she said

 "Mom, I know what I'm going to do today.
I'm going to make a copy of a pair of my underwear, then I'll have paper underwear."  :~)

Cali was quiet and missing for a while today.
When she reappeared downstairs I asked her what she was doing- she wanted me to go see but I was cooking so I gave her the camera.
She took 32 pictures of this.  She was very proud of it and equally am I.

so she currently only drives in parking lots and down our road.

Today Amber took her to Wal-Mart and she practiced parking.

When I was young, my Mother always told me how fast time would go by as I got older...how right she was!! It's been 2 years today since she passed away, hard to believe it's been that long. I miss her VERY much every day!!

While going through a cabinet I don't use often I stumbled across a fondue pot that belonged to Jana. How interesting that we hadn't thought of it in so long and yet it popped up now, near the anniversary of her death.
We had fondue to celebrate her life which we discussed at dinner.
I miss her. She was a wonderful friend and an important part of my life.
And of course, she did bring in to the world, the love of my life, second only to my family and for that I'll forever be grateful.  :)
