Did you know silver was the gift for giving when you've been together 25 years.

That is exactly how long Kelly and I have been friends. 

I am very fortunate to have such a great friend.

She sent me this wonderful silver bowl that used to belong to her mother.

Cali has confiscated the Kindle.  

It was the only reason I didn't stress about Scott spending the money on it. 

I knew the girls would get a lot of use out of it and so far they are proving me right.

On the last day of the winter soccer camp the visiting coach handed out t-shirts to a few players he felt deserved special recognition. 

Cori was a recipient. 

She really enjoyed the camp and proved she's got some mad skills.

While NeeNee is normally out and about most of the time, 

the cold weather we've had has made him a bit of a home body.

We stopped by the school today so the girls could sing their duet.

After a rough week, Misty and I were a little goofy over cookie icing. 

It was a fun Family Fun Night though.

Cassi and Cali had to provide stockings for a Secret Santa Pal at cheer.

Cali went the traditional route but Cassi had a slightly different idea.

She chose a slipper boot and added a few things to it.

We gave the other boot to her at the end with the rest of her gift.

We got dumped on. 

We had to push everything into the street so the plow would get it and not leave us a huge berm.

It was such wet snow, we were all pooped after shoveling.

The girl is 14 years old and still pulls the crust off her bread!

I bug her about it all the time. She says, "But I don't like the crust."

Cali got flowers from her Daddy today. 

She was very sad that he was missing her first big school show but she was very excited to get these from him.

Cali was collecting canned food from our house to take in for the canned food drive.

She took so much she could barely carry the bag. 

She kind of drug it into school.

The bus guy was coming to help her but she wouldn't have any of that!

The girls were not impressed however they thought I fit right in being in Homer!
